Latino Community Coordinator Update
As you are aware, our Latino Community Coordinator, Carlos Vizcaino is studying to be ordained a permanent diaconate in February 2025. As part of his studies the archbishop has assigned him to serve the community of Immaculate Heart of Mary from now through the
end of the year. This is known as his Pastoral Year - an opportunity to serve a different parish (in size and demographics) as well as learn from other priests and Deacons as he serves as an acolyte at their parish and ours.
We are fortunate that Enrique Lopez (pictured), a member of our Latino Community, has stepped up and will be coordinating the community’s liturgies, ministries, and events while Carlos is away.
Please keep Enrique and Carlos in your prayers as they take on these duties.
