Edge with Purpose (Youth Ministry & Confirmation Preparation)

Edge with Purpose is more than just our middle school youth group—it also serves as the foundation for faith formation and Confirmation preparation at OLA.

The program runs in 4-week blocks that alternate between Edge, the Life Teen middle school program, and Purpose, the Life Teen Confirmation program. Middle school youth are required to attend these sessions to fulfill the foundational requirements for Confirmation preparation.

​

Edge (Middle School) is a dynamic ministry for 6th–8th graders that helps middle school youth explore their faith in a welcoming, energetic environment. Each Edge night includes community-building games, relevant teaching, small group discussion, and prayer. Our goal is to give students a safe space to ask questions, encounter Christ, and form lasting friendships grounded in faith.

Edge with Purpose meets on Sundays from 6:30–8pm. Dinner is provided following the 5:30pm Mass.

Volunteers Needed!
We’re looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to help make Edge a fun and faith-filled experience for youth! Volunteers assist with setup, dinner, games, crafts, and small group activities. If you enjoy working with young people and want to help them grow in their faith, we’d love to have you on our team!
