Thank You to OLA’s Justice and Peace Ministry!
We are so grateful for our Justice and Peace Ministry members and your dedication to serving the less fortunate in our world.
Through the hard work of this ministry - and from parishioners purchasing Ethical Trade coffee, tea, and chocolate - they raised $4900 toward a new home for the Santos family of EL Sacabastal, Palencial, Guatemala!
In the words of Food for the Poor, “Embedded in the gift of a home lies a future of possibilities! Thank you for your gift.”

The Justice and Peace Ministry its members to put their faith into action in support of others. Monthly Ethical Trade coffee/tea/chocolate sales raise money toward building homes in Nicaragua through Food for the Poor. The group attends and supports interfaith outreach programs in the Atlanta area and also advocates for legislative issues in conjunction with Catholic Social Teaching. This ministry is in partnership with Stand Up for Kids - a program supporting the homeless youth of Atlanta and hosts annual drives to provide needed supplies for homeless youth. The OLA Just Faith community actively supports the work of other Outreach Ministries at OLA. Learn more by emailing Suzanne Ernst at justice-peace@olachurch.org
