Help Us Keep Our Students Safe — Support the Safety Platform Implementation at OLA Church, School, and Preschool.

At Our Lady of the Assumption, we’re one family — parish, school, and preschool — united in our mission to form disciples of Jesus Christ. Everything we do, from the classroom to the playground to the church, flows from that sacred mission.

At OLA Catholic School, our goal is to form minds and hearts rooted in faith —

helping every child grow in wisdom, grace, and love for God.

And at OLA Preschool, we provide a safe, nurturing place where our youngest learners can begin that same journey — discovering God’s love in an environment filled with joy, care, and security.

To carry out our mission faithfully, we must ensure that every part of our campus is a place of safety and peace — where children, families, parishioners, and staff can pray, learn, and grow with confidence.

That’s why, during this year’s #iGiveCatholic campaign, we’re asking for your support to help us implement the Centegix Safety Platform — a vital new tool to protect everyone who steps onto our campus.

This system equips every staff member with a simple alert badge — so at the push of a button, help can arrive instantly in any emergency. Whether it’s a medical need or a critical safety concern, every second matters, and this platform ensures no one is ever alone in responding.

It provides real-time communication with first responders, instant lockdown

capability, and digital mapping of every building — all designed to protect our

community in every situation.

While it’s built for emergencies, most activations nationwide are for ordinary

medical or behavioral needs — the kinds of things that happen every day in a busy parish and school community. It’s a system that helps us care for one another more effectively.

To bring this system to life, we’re seeking to raise $18,800 this year to cover

installation, training, and implementation — the first step in a five-year project

totaling $58,800.

Your generosity today will help us deploy the badges, map our campus, and ensure that every member of our staff is fully trained and ready.
