Welcome to our New Associate Youth Minister!
Please offer a warm OLA welcome to Isabel Harrell - our new Associate Youth Minister. Isabel will be assisting Nick Ables in running and growing our youth ministry programs.
I am excited to serve the Our Lady of the Assumption community as the Associate Youth Minister!
Having grown up in Decatur, it is a blessing for me to return home and serve within the Archdiocese of Atlanta. I hold a degree in Theology from Ave Maria University, where I developed a love for ministry and a desire to share the beauty of the faith with young people and their families.
Over the years, I have been blessed to serve in a variety of ministry settings, working with children, middle schoolers, and high school students. My experiences as a LifeTeen summer missionary, a staff member at Camp Wojtyla, and a certified Level I catechist for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd have provided me valuable insight into the unique challenges facing today’s youth and have given me perspective on how to best accompany the youth on their faith journey.
It is a joy to be here, and I look forward to getting to know many of you as I serve the youth and families of this vibrant parish!
