Dear OLA Family,
The close of this 2023 school year will mark ten years of my servant leadership at OLA Preschool as director. I often reflect on the learning, love, joy, community, and commitment that is OLA Preschool. The past ten years have seen enormous changes and improvements. I am so proud of our commitment to Catholic early childhood education and all that we have accomplished together.
After deep reflection, I have decided to pass on the leadership of OLA Preschool. It has been an honor to serve as the director of OLA Preschool. The gift of the opportunity to serve and teach the youngest members of our parish has been the greatest experience of my career. It is extremely difficult for me to step away from the preschool, but I am grateful for the few weeks ahead to soak up every last second of the joy that has been the daily hallmark of my life throughout the past ten years.
I will remain in my position as director until the close of the school year. In the coming weeks, Fr. Jim Duffy S.M. will make the announcement regarding a new preschool director. Information detailing a smooth transition will be published during the remainder of the school year.
I thank all of our families, current, past, and future for their unending support and dedication to OLA Preschool and our OLA Parish.
Please know that I hold each and every one of our families in my heart always.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
God Bless,
Mrs. Debbie Kehoe M.Ed., Director
Our Lady of the Assumption Preschool
