Presentation of the Lord Blessing of Candles | Sunday, February 2nd at the 11:30am Mass

On Sunday, February 2nd, we have the exciting opportunity to celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord at all weekend Masses! This marks 40 days after Christmas when Jesus was presented in the Temple by Mary and Joseph. Part of the tradition includes a blessing of candles, which will take place at the 11:30am Mass.

All are encouraged to bring their own personal candles to this Mass for them to be blessed alongside the candles we will use at our future weekend liturgies and the Easter Vigil.

You will place them before the altar prior to Mass, so be sure to label them!
