A Ministry for Middle and High School Youth

We are excited to announce the formation of the Snax Sax ministry by two young ladies who want to help their neighbors and provide a meaningful service opportunity for the youth of OLA.

Snax Sax is a local ministry that partners with local elementary schools whose staff identify at-

risk children who may not have sufficient food outside of school hours. Each week during the school year, Middle and High School volunteers pack decorated brown bags with nutritious food that are delivered to the partners schools for children to take home over the weekend.

Click here to sign up your child (and you!) to help with this very important ministry. This link also provides information on how you can financially support the ministry. Donations go toward purchasing the food.

Adult Volunteers are needed to oversee the packing and to drive the packs to the local school.

Email snaxsax@olachurch.org with questions. Please pray for these young ladies as they embark on this effort.
