Join us for the great feast of Pentecost as we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church!
On this monumental occasion of our faith, we have the opportunity to celebrate the extended form of the Pentecost Vigil Mass, which will take place on Saturday, May 23rd at 8pm, offering a solemn and prayerful opportunity to prepare for this joyful feast day (the simple form will take place at the regular 5pm Vigil time). This liturgy dates back to the early church and is truly a hidden gem within our Catholic Faith. Those who have attended an Easter Vigil Mass will detect similarities in how the Pentecost Vigil is conducted, specifically within the Liturgy of the Word, which prescribes four Old Testament readings that tell the history of the longing for the Holy…
