About the event

Flannery O'Connor: Grace in the Grotesque

Many of us ask, “How can grace exist in a world that so often feels chaotic, broken, and even disturbing?” Flannery O’Connor confronts this question head-on, revealing how God’s grace breaks through precisely in moments of violence, discomfort, and the grotesque. Through her fiction, she points us toward the mystery of salvation flowing from the Cross.

Join our two summer seminarians for a two-night exploration of Flannery O’Connor. The first evening will introduce her life and literary vision. The second will be a guided discussion of two of her short stories.
