Church Mortgage Burning Celebration

We have a great reason to celebrate after all Masses the weekend of October 21st and 22nd! 

Grab your snacks and drinks in the narthex and gather outside the church front doors with Fr. Jim as we hold a church mortgage burning ceremony!

In 1999, the Parish Pastoral Council authorized a Building Committee to assess the future needs of the parish. Later that year the committee presented the parish with a plan for a permanent church and a new parish hall building. The Archdiocese of Atlanta gave its blessing, and the fundraising began.

After a lot of fits and starts, a master plan was developed, our loan with the Archdiocese was initiated and approval was granted by the DeKalb County

Commission.
