Current Ministry Volunteer Needs

“If we wish to serve God and love our neighbor well, we must manifest our joy in the service we render to Him and them.

Let us open wide our hearts. It is joy which invites us. Press forward and fear nothing.”

– St. Katharine Drexel

Adoration Guardians

Adoration Guardians are required for each hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which will resume on Wednesday, September 1 from 10am-6pm in the church.

Adoration Guardians offer an hour of prayer each week before the Blessed Sacrament.  The Blessed Sacrament can never be left alone.  Guardians have a scheduled hour each week where you arrive on time and remain in prayer until the next Guardians arrive. We need at least 2 scheduled Guardians each week.

Mass Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

The Second Vatican Council reminds us that the Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life."

Therefore, assisting the clergy in distributing Holy Communion to the faithful is one of the most important ministries that lay persons can perform. We are looking for more EMHCs to serve our parish community.

Potential EMHCs must be 16 or older, have received the three sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation), (if married) be married in the Church.

If you are interested in becoming an EMHC please plan to join us for training on Monday, September 13 at 7pm in the Church.

Advanced Sign-up is required. Please go to to sign up.
