Dear Friends,

OLA has a long tradition of relying upon its lay leadership to help set the direction and vision for our Parish. The overall responsibility for our Parish lies with all of us, not just the pastor, priests, deacons and staff. The Pastoral Council is a consultative group of parish volunteers, led by our Pastor, charged with prayerfully discerning Parish needs, setting pastoral priorities and empowering people to participate in the mission of Christ.
We are seeking a diverse background of candidates to fill multiple spots on the Pastoral Council.
Potential candidates must be 18 years or older who are fully initiated in the Church, having received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Potential candidates need to have been registered in the parish for at least one year prior to the election. You must be available to attend our monthly meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month (August - May). The meetings are held at 6:30pm in the Upper Room and dates are subject to change it the 2nd Monday falls on a holiday.

We ask you to prayerfully consider joining us in this journey by discerning whether you feel called to serve on the Pastoral Council.

If you would like to be a candidate, please let us know by filling out the online form that is below.
If you know someone who would be a strong candidate for the council, please encourage him or her to sign up at the link. The deadline to submit a nomination is Sunday, March 19.
