Olivewood Sales from the Holy Land |  Weekend of December 14/15

Our friends from the Holy Land are coming back! Holy Arts will be visiting our parish over the weekend of December 14/15  just in time for your Christmas Shopping.

Their mission is to support Christians in the Holy Land. For centuries, the Christians in and around Bethlehem have earned a living by carving religious olive wood art to sell to visiting pilgrims. Fewer pilgrims are journeying to the Holy Land today, making it difficult for those Christians to support their families. As a result, there has been a dramatic rise in Christian emigration from the Holy Land. Now, less than 1% of the population in the Holy Land are Christians.

Be sure to stop by their tables in the narthex and pick up a few gifts!
