Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) Training

The Second Vatican Council reminds us that the Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life." Therefore, assisting the clergy in distributing Holy Communion to the faithful is one of the most important ministries that lay persons can perform.

We are looking for more EMHCs to serve our parish community.

Potential EMHCs must:

  • be 16 or older,

  • have received the three sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation), and

  • (if married) be married in the Church.

If you are interested in becoming an EMHC please plan to join us for training

on Monday, September 13 at 7pm in the Church, please sign up below.
