“Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.”
– Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1422
Reconciliation: Saturdays 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. in the Church
First Reconciliation & First Eucharist
Children who are baptized Catholic are typically prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion during their first and second grade years. Children not enrolled in Catholic schools are required to complete both the first and second grades in the School of Religion to be eligible for First Reconciliation and First Communion.
