Stewardship is an intrinsic aspect of our Baptismal call.

In being baptized, we realize that our first and primary vocation is to be disciples of Jesus. The life of a Christian steward models the life of Jesus. It is challenging and even difficult, in many respects, yet intense joy comes to those who take the risk to live as Christian Stewards. By our actions we become more aware of our relationship with God. As this awareness deepens we change in our understanding of self and ultimately, our attitudes and priorities change. As the process continues, our actions and motivations become more spiritual and God-centered.

You will find at Our Lady of the Assumption, we are a community that Walks Stewardship in our daily lives.  We DO NOT talk about it on one given day of the year, we live it each and every waking moment. Join us on this Stewardship Journey…

Each spring parishioners are given the opportunity to learn about opportunities at the Festival of Ministries.  At that time parishioners are welcome to renew or make a commitment to a ministry in writing and this way are connected to the programs in which they want to participate. However, you are always welcome to reassess Time & Talent in your life contact the Stewardship Office at 404-261-7181, ext 132. or the Ministry Coordinator ext. 120.
