The OLA Community

Our Lady of the Assumption is a diverse and growing parish that seeks to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, within the Catholic tradition. Informed by the spirit of the Marist Fathers and Brothers, the ideal, to live like Christ in the world, is expressed in our parish under the broad areas of : Worship, Education and Service

 Our Lady of the Assumption Parish consists of over 1,400 registered parishioners who are deeply involved in service ministry to the parish and to the wider Atlanta community.

Parishioners include people who live in the Brookhaven and surrounding community.  We are a parish of multi-cultures: Anglo, Indonesian and Latino. Our community offers something for all ages: Parish Preschool, Elementary School, Parish School of Religion, Adult Religious Education vibrant Youth Ministry a multitude of social functions for all ages and extensive ministry involvement.

The Atlanta area is a hub for many new residents from around the country.  The Brookhaven Community is nestled near downtown and Buckhead.   Our parish welcomes an average of 30 new registrants every month.
