FUNERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT
YEAR ROUND
Funeral Coordinators minister to families during a time of deep sadness.  We meet with families to help plan the Funeral liturgy, coordinate with the parish office to schedule clergy and musicians, make the funeral program, and assist the family and clergy at the funeral.  Deep Faith, Compassion and Patience are the main qualities required!

GREETERS

Ministers gather before the liturgy in the narthex to greet all parishioners and newcomers as they enter the church.  The team is scheduled around their preferred mass times.  Those who love talking with people and are willing to share there love and excitement about OLA are needed.

IZZY DOLL MINISTRY

Knitting and sewing dolls and bears to be sent to children overseas in War torn countries and to area homeless shelters and hospitals. Can be done at home or in groups. No Experience Necessary

MARTHA’S (CHURCH CLEANING)
YEAR ROUND
TIME REQUIRED: Two hours a month, rotational team schedule.
Men and women are needed. Duties include polishing, dusting, windows, scraping of gum & wax, cleaning of pews.

MINISTRY OF CARE
YEAR ROUND
This position serves the sick, homebound and residents of assisted-care homes by bringing the Blessed Sacrament to them.  The position requires training as a Eucharistic Minister which can be provided by the Parish.  Each Minister of Care is typically scheduled for service at least one day per month.

NIGHT SHELTER
NOVEMBER THRU MAY

These volunteers spend the night at the shelter and assist with serving dinner (provided by the Soupremes) at the Central Presbyterian Church (downtown, across from Immaculate Conception Church)

ST VINCENT DE PAUL, OLA CONFERENCE

MEETINGS: 1st Monday of Month @ 7:30, 3rd Thursday of the Month at 12:30 pm
Training provided. to allow you to assist with confidential and temporary assistance to those within our parish boundaries in the form of rent, food, utilities, medicine or transportation. Members can assist both in and out of the office and with Pantry Stocking and organization.
