OLA Bobcats registration for the 2007/2008

CMLA/OLA basketball is now

 

OLA Bobcats had an outstanding and successful 2006/2007 season.  This season should be just as fantastic as we continue to enjoy our newly refurbished gym with its beautiful upgrades including a wooden floor, new scoreboards, new bleachers and a renewed sense of pride and spirit.  In addition to our new surroundings, OLA Bobcats is proud to introduce the expansion of our basketball program with girls high school basketball.  With all this excitement we anticipate an enthusiastic response and a record number of participants. 

 

CMLA Basketball:  Grades 3 – 8

Registration Ends: September 21

Fee: $115

Late: $145 (based on space availability)

All children of Our Lady of the Assumption Church Parish members and students of OLA school in grades 3 through 8 are invited to participate.  Recreational play takes place between other parochial schools in the Atlanta area who are members of the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta (CMLA).   The league is composed of both boys’ teams and girls’ teams; league play will run from mid-November until the end of January. Teams in grade 5 and above will be eligible for tournament play which will begin in early February.

 

CMLA Basketball:  High School 9 – 12

Registration Ends: November 2

Fee: $80

Late: $120 (based on space availability)

All teens (girls and boys) of Our Lady of the Assumption Church who are not playing on their high school team are invited to participate.  Players will meet on Fridays for practice and Sunday afternoons for game play.  This year’s season begins in December.  Teams will play other CMLA parishes throughout metropolitan Atlanta.

OLA Basketball:  Kindergarten – 2

Registration Ends: December 1

Fee: $55

Late: $85 (based on space availability)

This program is open to parish members and school students.  These will be Co-Rec teams with all games at OLA.  The season will run in January and practices will be held on Sunday immediately prior to games.  This iis an excellent chance to introduce your youngster to basketball and help them develop the basic skills needed for the sport.

 

Coaches are volunteer parents from our community who have a true love of the game.
