Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA is a contemporary version of the early Church's method of initiating non-Catholic adults into membership in the Church.
People who wish to join the Catholic Church are asked to go through a process of faith-sharing. These candidates, called catechumens, are gradually introduced into the community, its way of life, its gospel value system, its fellowship, and its prayer and worship. After a suitable period of formation, the catechumen may choose to become a full member of the Christian community and receive the sacraments of initiation.
The RCIA sessions meet weekly on Sunday mornings, 10:00-11:30 AM
