P3: Pizza, Play, and Prayer (1st – 3rd Graders)
P3 meets one Thursday a month from 6-7pm. We begin with pizza and prayer followed by games, crafts, and other activities.
Kids Club (4th/5th Graders)
Kids Club meets one Monday a month from 5:45 -7:30pm. Among our activities are: games, arts and crafts, an annual toiletries drive for the homeless…and, of course, sharing our faith. Pizza is served for dinner – each youth is asked to bring $5 each month to help cover the cost of food/beverage and supplies.
You must RSVP by noon on the day of each meeting for your child to get pizza.
Middle School (6th-8th Grades)
Our middle school youth group meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:45-8:30pm. Our meetings are scheduled, planned and presented by a team of adult and youth leaders, with the topics of most evenings being selected by the youth. We participate in many exciting activities throughout the school year!

High School (9th-12th Grades)
Our high school group meets on Sundays from 6:45-8:30pm. Meetings end with pizza. Each week we share our lives while exploring our faith! Our goal is to express our faith in every moment of our lives! Along with our weekly meetings, during the year we serve the homeless, have coat and hygiene kit drives, go on 2 retreats to St. Bernard Abbey (Cullman, AL), etc…
Affectionately known as “Catholic Club” this group was founded by students from nearby Oglethorpe University. All college aged young adults are welcome!We meet most Each Thursday we either meet at Oglethorpe University for lunch or at OLA for pizza and faith/life sharing. Teen Ministered Mass (Sunday, 5:30pm)
The youth of OLA minister at this Mass to help bring all assembled closer to Christ. Contact Anne Stephens to participate in any of these ministries.
- Lectors/Readers: Youth 6th grade – College are invited to train to serve as lectors at Mass.
- Ushers/Gift Bearers: Youth take up the collection and gifts at the Offertory during Mass.
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Teens, age 16 and above and who have received the sacrament of Confirmation, are invited to train to distribute communion during Mass.
- Teen Choir: We are always looking for more young people to sing/play instruments with our choir. We lead the music at Mass twice a month during the school year. Practice is before Mass beginning at 4pm.
